Dr. Burmark has found the key to following her own advice: creating an updated and expanded eBook version of her classic, Visual Literacy, in which numerous color images add depth and context to the important points she is making. Unlike the world of print, where a traditional book form of her work would cost a tremendous amount to produce, the eBook makes rich use of color images to make and reinforce her points, while still making the final product affordable for the very educators who need to see her message first-hand.

Unlike most eBooks, Visual Literacy is easy on the eyes, even when being read from a computer monitor. It is clear that Dr. Burmark practices what she preaches, and this fine effort is not only a great read, it is a great model for how electronic books should be designed.
